This whimsical cake was constructed from five levels of cake, carved, frosted and sculpted with fondant. The cake incorporated other loved symbols from Alice in Wonderland; the clock, the Mad hatters hat, the roses red, and the silly signs. Everything is edible in the cake except for the base and the dowel that supports the tree; the lemon tart cake was as eccentric as the Cheshire Cat.
